    ACOR is proud to announce the upcoming two-week capacity building seminar, CAORC-ACOR Faculty Development Seminar, for faculty and administrators at U.S. community colleges and minority-serving institutions, to be held in Amman, Jordan in January 2020.

    CAORC (Council of American Overseas Research Centers) fully funds the seminar on the topic, Jordan: Stability on Margins, to help the community college faculty provide a global perspective to their curricula and students. The seminar will be based at ACOR in Amman, the capital of Jordan, and includes visits to major sites throughout the country, including Aqaba, the Dead Sea, Madaba, Umm Qais, and the World Heritage sites of Petra and Wadi Ramm. The seminar also provides round-trip travel, accommodations, and meals.
