Library and Archives Assistant Eslam Dawodieh

Eslam started at ACOR in February 2019 as a Photo Digitization Intern on the ACOR Photo Archive project working on the Paul and Nancy Lapp collection. Eslam began working at ACOR as the Library and Archives Assistant in August 2019, and supports both the smooth running of the ACOR Library and the digitization of ACOR’s archival collections.  Eslam graduated with an MA in Archaeology from University of Jordan in 2017, and focused on prehistory and Early Bronze Age settlements patterns. Eslam also has a BA in Archaeology from Mutah University (2011). After graduating, Eslam worked with the Department of Antiquities at the Jordan Archaeological Museum (Amman Citadel) and at the Amman Directorate. She gained excavation experience as part of the Islamic Baydha project under Dr. Michaela Sinibaldi.
