Dr. Glenn Corbett is the ACOR Grants Officer based in the Washington, D.C. area. He oversees ACOR grant writing and grant reporting and oversees the development of ACOR’s growing archival initiative.
Dr. Glenn Corbett served as the Associate Director of ACOR July 2014 — October 2017. He has a long work history in Jordan, including a post-doctoral NEH fellowship at ACOR, a pre-doctoral CAORC-ACOR fellowship, and a CAORC multi-country fellowship. He received a Ph.D. in 2010 from the University of Chicago and his dissertation was an examination of Thamudic inscriptions in Wadi Hafir. He has a long publication record including pieces in Near Eastern Archaeology, the American Journal of Archaeology and the Annual of the Department of Antiquities of Jordan. He has previous work as a web editor for the Biblical Archaeology Society, and maintains a website for his research in Wadi Hafir.
